چکیده
Abstract Pervious concrete is designed to be porous allow permeation of water and air for combating the environmental drainage problems arising from urbanization. However, despite extensive research, it still not clear how best design pervious mixes achieve good concurrent permeability-strength performance. In a previous study, authors found that there necessity distinguish between interconnected porosity open porosity, unsubmerged permeability submerged permeability. this based on thinking fine aggregate may added reduce paste volume provided enough form coherent mass with paste, further research was conducted develop mortar type reduced investigate roles in strength. A new series varying were tested results revealed major factor determining while water/cement ratio are factors More importantly, plays key role each performance attribute.

Predicting the Permeability of Pervious Concrete (Enhanced Porosity Concrete) from Non-Destructive Electrical Measurements
The effectiveness of a pervious concrete pavement to transport water through it depends on the intrinsic permeability of the system. However, this characteristic is usually defined in terms of the porosity of the material. It has been observed that porosity alone is an inadequate indicator of the permeability of pervious concretes, since the permeability depends on pore sizes, geometry and conn...
متن کاملPrediction of Pervious Concrete Permeability and Compressive Strength Using Artificial Neural Networks
Pervious concrete is a concrete mixture prepared from cement, aggregates, water, little or no fines, and in some cases admixtures. The hydrological property of pervious concrete is the primary reason for its reappearance in construction. Much research has been conducted on plain concrete, but little attention has been paid to porous concrete, particularly to the analytical prediction modeling o...
متن کاملVirtual Pervious Concrete: Microstructure, Percolation, and Permeability
As the usage of pervious concrete continues to increase dramatically, a better understanding of the linkages between microstructure, transport properties, and durability will assist suppliers in mixture proportioning and design. This paper presents various virtual pervious concrete microstructural models and compares their percolation characteristics and computed transport properties to those o...

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
